Gigi Studios makes elegant frames with a quiet sort of confidence. The acetate is rich, and the shapes are easy to wear every day.
The family behind it has made eyewear in Barcelona since 1962, when Fulgencio Ramo started the business in Poble Sec. Patricia Ramo, the third generation, launched Gigi Studios in 2016. Each frame goes through about 100 production steps, in Italian or Japanese acetate.
New in: Vermont, a double-bridge pilot from the ultralight LAB collection, in translucent blue or havana. Lou is a slim, low oval in black or havana.
