How do I change or cancel my order?

We hope you love your new specs, but we also understand that the world is not perfect.

Problem with your Lenses?

If your lenses are faulty, or we have made an error (it rarely happens), we will of course fix it.  Email us within 30 days of receiving your glasses and tell us what the problem is. We will arrange for new lenses to be fitted and we'll cover the cost of postage both ways.

Problem with your Frame?

If your frame is faulty, of course we will replace it, and cover the cost of re-fitting your lenses to a new frame, and the cost of postage both ways.

If you're not feeling the chemistry and you've changed your mind about the glasses you selected, you may return them within 10 business days providing they have not been worn or used, damaged after delivery, and that no attempt has been made to alter the glasses. They must be returned in original condition, and in original packaging.  You will need to cover the cost of postage and we recommend using a trackable postage service so that delivery can be tracked and verified.  Naked Specs Optical cannot be held responsible for returns that go missing in transit or are not received at our office.

After we receive your returned glasses and they have been inspected to ensure there is no damage, we will issue you with a store credit, less any re-fitting fee, for our online store. Your store credit will be valid for a period of 12 months.

If your glasses include custom lenses (any type of prescription), there will be a re-fitting fee of $40 to cover the cost of removing the lenses. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds or credits on lenses, unless they are faulty.

Customers will need to cover postage and insurance costs for their returns (we recommend that you return the product via Registered post, and take insurance with your postal carrier). Naked Specs will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

How do I return my order?

Email us at and tell us that you want to return your specs. Our gorgeous customer care team will provide you with instructions and a return delivery label. You will need to cover the cost of postage unless the goods are faulty.


How does the Gift Card work?

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.  After ordering a Gift Card we will email a link to the purchaser so that you can either forward this to the lucky recipient, or print it out to give to them in person.

Gift Cards can be used to purchase all Naked Specs products, except for more Gift Cards.

You will be able to redeem the Gift Card by entering the Gift Card code at the checkout or at a Naked Specs Optical retail outlet.

If you make a purchase in excess of the value of a Gift Card, the balance amount will need to be paid using another payment method available on our website.

If you make a purchase that is less than the value of your Gift Card, the balance will remain on your Gift Card until the original expiry date.

Each Gift Card will be issued with a code number. You will need to enter the Gift Card code at the checkout to complete your purchase.


Can I return a Gift Card?

Gift Cards are not refundable.


How long does it take for Gift Cards to be delivered?

You will receive your Gift Card via email, the next working day after placing your order.
