Do you give positive feedback?
When was the last time you gave someone positive feedback?
This has to be one of the easiest ways to recognise good performance, yet it's all too often forgotten or dismissed as being un-businesslike.
What a load of rubbish! Almost every human being likes to hear that they did a good job. A leader who takes the time to stop and have a meaningful exchange with a team member, and to thank them when they do a good job, will be cultivating a much more motivated and engaged team than those who don't.
Get out there and spread some positivity amongst your team! We've been talking about the great work done by one of our team members today, and thought we would share the sentiment. :)
