Sydney Opera House: A Melting Pot of Art and Culture
Think of Sydney and one landmark easily comes to mind—the Sydney Opera House.
Situated in the Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Opera House is, in itself, a great masterpiece standing by the tip of Bennelong point. Danish architect Jørn Utzon won the design competition in 1957 which produced the architecture of the opera house.
With something in store for everyone, apart from opera, there’s also concerts, musicals, theatre and dance performances held at this famous venue.
Interested to see and experience the entire opera house? You can take a guided tour around the opera house. Tours are available in English, German, French, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin.
Foodies are not left out. The Sydney Opera House has numerous restaurants and bars for pre-concert dining pleasure, overlooking a magnificent harbour view. With five restaurants and a variety of cuisines available, no tummy is left empty.
